Heidi Wirtner, The Fishing Artist

Heidi Wirtner is a multimedia artist located in Emlenton. She
graduated from Edinboro University with a BFA in Graphic Design and Art Education, and currently teaches in the Moniteau School District in Butler County. Heidi has won numerous awards and has collectors here and abroad. Her love of water and nature is a recurring theme in most of her work. Heidi had a chance to paint Plein Air this year, something she has wanted to do for a long time. Working among her peers, observing others’ work, and the conversations that were sparked during each session made it an even fuller experience. Ms. Wirtner hopes that her work touches the
hearts and minds of people and makes them look at things a bit differentlythan before.
