Mary Rose Ragon was born and raised in Western Pennsylvania and presently lives in Venango County with her husband, daughter and two rescue dogs. She volunteers at the St. Elizabeth Food Pantry in Oil City and is a Penn State
Extension Master Gardener of Venango County. Her pressed petal items provide unique items made from locally harvested flowers and other plant material.
Mary Rose has been pressing plant material since she was a young girl, still using simple presses made by her father. Many of her quality products are made from rescued and reclaimed materials. A percentage of her profit is donated to the St. Elizabeth Food Pantry. Mary Rose has provided a number of pressed plant material classes to local garden clubs, church groups and for the Transit Art Gallery and Gifts. She has entered her work in the Oil Heritage Art Show
and Franklin’s Annual Nature Art Showcase and Sale. Her work can be found at the Transit Art Gallery and Gifts, Artist’s Attic, Cooks Forest Sawmill Center and at local craft/vendor shows.
Mary Rose can be contacted by emailpressedpetals17@gmail.com.
Mary Rose thanks you for your purchase of her unique, handcrafted items!
