April 1 @ 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm EDT
The Oil City Arts Council is pleased to present its 2023 Photography Show ‘VISIONS’, to be held in Graffiti Gallery this spring. The show begins with an Opening Reception on Friday, March 31 from 5 – 8 pm and continues on Saturdays and Sundays from 12 – 6 pm through April 29. ‘VISIONS’ is a non-juried photography show and will be free and open to the public. Many pieces, if not all of the exhibited work will be available for purchase. Adults as well as children are welcome to exhibit. All work must be framed; the artist’s hanging fee is $25 which goes toward covering the monthly rental cost for the gallery. Interested photographers are to bring submissions to Graffiti Gallery on March 24, 5 – 8 pm or March 25 and 26, 12 – 6 pm. Graffiti Gallery is located at 206 Seneca Street in the historic National Transit Building Annex and features various art exhibits throughout the year, organized under the Oil City Arts Council.
Following the ‘VISIONS’ exhibit, a 3-Dimensional show featuring clay, sculpture, fiber arts, jewelry and more will take place on May 12 through June 3. Additional exhibits for 2023 are in the planning stages.
