Students will meet 4 times in the TAGG Gallery to explore the intricate connections between art and poetry or prose poetry.
On the first session, students will select a piece of art that “chooses” them.
They will then learn various writing workshop techniques and activities to draft a poem or work of prose poetry to then take through the writing process in subsequent sessions.
OCTOBER 7, 14, 21, 28 2022 / 6:30 to 8:30pm each class.
The culmination will be a combined art/writing display in Graffiti Gallery on Saturday November 5, 2022, with artists, whose work was selected by students of this class and class participants. Works will be displayed side by side.
