Maryanne HIRO Sockey

“I first got started sewing very basic two-dimensional felt creatures around nine to ten years old and fell in love with hand sewing. Over the years I began to experiment with creating my own felt designs starting with a couple of simple video game characters in my mid-teens that I loved and moving to dragons later on.

My dragons range from flying to sitting, crouching, and lying down. I enjoy customizing dragons for clients, particularly for couples’ newborn children and Wedding Dragons using the wedding color scheme or the bride and groom’s favorite colors. Outside of sewing, I enjoy writing, drawing, and spending time with my two lovely bunnies named Leif “Hare”-ikson and Bunhilde(Bunhild-ah)
