Good day art aficionado! Noel Tippel here, I am a self-taught 2D and 3D mixed media artist. I grew up in the Oil City and Franklin area where I attended Cranberry Elementary and Cranberry Jr./Sr. High School. I then furthered my education at Edinboro University where I studied Graphic Design. I am now married to my wonderful husband, John, living near Barkeyville, PA and have been a member of the Transit Art Gallery and Gifts since September 2021.
I first got into paper crafts in February of 2020 when the Pandemic hit the area and I was let go from my job. From there I explored many different mediums and techniques which eventually led to my current style that is heavily influenced by the Steampunk Genre. This subculture inspires me because of the merger between the beauty and ingenuity of the Victorian era and the advancements of today.
Looking to the future of my art journey, I hope to expand my skill set to include creating unique pieces of furniture as well as art. In doing this I also hope my work inspires others to think creatively and to see possibility in the world around them.
