I have always lived in Northwestern Pennsylvania. I am the mother of two, and live with
my husband, in Oil City.
I started my pottery journey in 2017, with a class at the Oil Creek Earthworks Pottery
Studio. Since then, I have learned by reading and watching videos on YouTube and the internet.
Also, I have gotten many great tips from fellow potters at the studio.
I enjoy making functional pieces that you use in everyday live. It always makes whatever
you are eating or drinking more enjoyable, in something handmade. I am still trying to find my
style. I love wheel throwing but have been venturing in some more hand building. I love using
different things to add texture. I have also started using underglaze transfers. Hopefully one
day I will have the time to make some transfers in my own designs.
